Two Holiday Boat Events Perfect for Christmas Fun

Annual Battleship USS Iowa Viewing Party and Parade

Happening in San Pedro, California at 250 South Harbor Boulevard, this viewing party will provide more than 60 boats with holiday lights sailing alongside the battleship. The event will happen on Saturday, December 7th and starts at 5:30pm.

Enjoy all types of fun including:

  • Cocoa, Cookies and Coffee
  • Food cart treats
  • Photos with Santa
  • Kids’ Corner
  • Hang out with the Nutcracker characters

The event is $20 for adults, $10 for youth and kids 12 and under get in free. IOWA members get in for a $5 discount.

22nd Annual Redondo Beach Holiday Boat Parade

As one of the most popular events of the holiday season, this parade will attract plenty of viewers. It will be held on Saturday, December 14th starting at 4:45pm. The theme this year is "Dive into the Season." This is a tribute to the founder of Body Glove, Bob Meistrell.

Many yachts, canoes, kayaks and other watercrafts will be decorated with lights for the parade. Music will be provided as a part of the event including Christmas carolers and animated Christmas scenes.

Santa will also be available before the parade for pictures, along with a free concert. This is a great event for everybody and all the proceeds will go to area charities. The event is sponsored by the King Harbor Boating Foundation and the King Harbor Yacht Club.

Both of these events will provide plenty of holiday fun mixed with boating fun for the entire family. If you love boat and Christmas, you will want to attend both events this year.
