BamBiBu in Redondo Beach serves up some of the be ramen in the area and it doesn't come from a $0.25 package. This ramen is excellent and comes from a restaurant known as a bit of a hole-in-the-all. However, it's worth a trip and you will taste ramen in a way you've never experienced before.
The spicy miso ramen is a very popular choice and comes with a tonkotsu broth and spicy miso paste. Choose from thick or thin noodles and enjoy this chewy and springy dish with an excellent broth. It has a silky pork fat type of texture and a spice like no other. It's not so hot you will need a huge cup of water, but it certainly has plenty of flavors.
Another great choice from this restaurant is called tsukemen. It's much like Tsujita. Berkshire pork and chewy skins make this dish an excellent choice and it's much like Japanese fried chicken. Made with garlic, soy sauce and ginger, the flavors are outstanding.
This restaurant is a great place for families, couples and singles. Enjoy plenty of great choices on the menu and you can even grab quick take out after grocery shopping at Albertsons next door.
The decor features a charming dorm room feel with cheerful origami. It's not the swankiest join, but most of the best food is found in these little hole-in-the-wall places kept secret by their lack of flash. You will receive your food fast, which makes it perfect for your lunch break or a quick dinner.
