Whether you head to the Redondo Pier for a relaxing day away or to attend an event, there are plenty of things to do at The Pier. This is a very popular portion of Redondo Beach with plenty of dining, shopping, nightlife and family fun. Here are some of the fun things you can do at the Redondo Pier.

For the Family

One of the most popular things kids always want to do at The Pier is visit the 16.5' Great White Shark named Georgette. This shark is on display at Shark Attack in a large tank.

Another great activity for the entire family is the yellow submarine found on the lower deck. This semi-submersive submarine provides underwater viewing for the entire family to enjoy.

Of course, the arcade games are always a huge draw for children and the tilt-a-whirl provides plenty of fun, as well. Other family activities include fishing, surfing and paddleboarding.

As you enjoy your day at The Pier, you will certainly need to stop for lunch or dinner. Plenty of dining choices are provided with many restaurants providing ocean views. Whether you choose El Torito, Tony's on the Pier, Breakwall, Maison Riz or one of the other restaurants, you're sure to find the right choice for your dining needs.

A number of shops are found throughout The Pier ranging from gift shops to sportswear. You will find just about everything you could imagine and something unique is bound to catch your eye.

Happy Hour

Adults can enjoy The Pier without the children and take in one of the many happy hours found throughout. This becomes one of the happiest places in Redondo Beach with nearly every restaurant offering daily happy hours specials.

Live music is found all throughout The Pier. From the summer concert series to the many concerts held at BriXton every year, there’s always a live performance happening. Nation artists play here every week, along with top local acts. The New Starboard Attitude provides blues and is known as the oldest Blues club in South Bay. Other live music venues include Tony's on the Pier, Breakwall and Maison Riz.

Whether you bring the entire family or just come to The Pier with friends, there's plenty to enjoy here. Both daytime and nighttime activities are found all throughout The Pier.
