The Seaside Lagoon is a very popular place to enjoy swimming, sunbathing, a play area for kids, volleyball courts and more. This is a great place for the entire family to enjoy a day in the sun. The Lagoon is found off Harbor Drive and Portofino Ways in the King Harbor of Redondo Beach.

It's a very big saltwater lagoon with lifeguard supervision. The Lagoon is open throughout the summer months and one of the most popular spots for water fun. Ruby's Restaurant and a snack bar are found nearby to provide snacks and meals. Families can also enjoy the luau shelter during the day or the many grassy areas throughout. The shelter can be reserved for events, as well.

The Lagoon is open daily from 10am to 5:45pm. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for children. If you bring a group of 20 or more, the admission is $1 cheaper for both adults and children. The full facility includes:

  • Ruby's Restaurant
  • Snack Bar
  • Salt Water Lagoon
  • Picnic Tables
  • Barbecues
  • Volleyball Court
  • Children's Play Equipment
  • New Restrooms
  • Showers
  • Party Facilities
  • Four Water Slides

Special events are held throughout the summer, as well. Some of the upcoming events include:

  • International Surf Festival Kick off Dinner on August 1st at 6pm
  • Chamber of Commerce Mixer on August 21st at 6pm
  • Lobster Festival from September 20th to 22nd

Private events are always welcome at the Lagoon. Small parties can reserve a one or two table area, while larger parties can reserve the luau shelter or the grassy area. No matter the size of your party, the Seaside Lagoon can provide what you need.

Whether you just want to enjoy a day at the Seaside Lagoon or you want to come out for a special event, you're sure to have a great time.
