They learn ball retrieval, box turns, racing techniques and recalls from the sport. This is one of the hottest new sports for dogs in Redondo Beach!

Teams of four dogs and their owners compete against another team in a side-by-side relay. They race down the course, which consists of special boxes, tennis ball launces, jumps and more.

The workshop will help your dog learn how to do everything necessary to compete in Flyball. It's a great way for your dog to run off some energy and socialize with other dogs. Along with the basic Flyball workshop, you can enroll your dog into the Advanced Flyball class. This will take the sport to an entirely new level.

Flyball is open to any dog, no matter what size. Advanced Flyball is open to all dogs at least six months old. This is being dubbed at the "Rock'N'Roll" sport for dogs.

The workshop starts on Saturday March 1st and lasts six weeks. It will be held at the Zoom Room at 1pm. The Zoom Room is located at 2729 Manhattan Beach Boulevard in Redondo Beach.

Classes are about an hour long and provide the perfect opportunity to get out of the house, socialize with other dog owners and let your dog have some fun. If your dog is full of energy and needs a healthy outlet, this is a great way to get them trained and let them play all at the same time.

Other Flyball classes will be offered in the future. Advanced Flyball classes will also be held on Saturdays starting on March 1st, but this class won't start until 2pm. Make sure to get signed up soon before all the spots are filled.
