Moving to the west coast offers the opportunity to become a part of the famous beach lifestyle of California. Redondo Beach offers the type of lifestyle many seek. This area of California is found near Los Angeles and provides wide sand beaches and a very popular attraction called the Redondo Pier.

Along with the Pier and the beaches, the area is also known for The Strand. This is a paved path that runs from Torrance Beach to South Redondo and north to Hermosa Beach, through Manhattan Beach and ends in Santa Monica. The Strand will see thousands of people on their bikes, skateboards, pushing strollers, roller blading or just walking, on any given day.

This bar will certainly be packed for the remaining NFL Playoff Games, but it hopes to become a staple for the community. Fifteen TVs are found throughout with hours on Sundays starting at 9:30am during Football season. They also serve Bloody Marys and breakfast on Sundays for football fans.

The bar features many craft beers, some local and a large selection of other domestic and import beers, as well. Many of the local beers are on tap, while others are found in a bottle. A Faery Hunt's Auntie Angelica's Fairy Garden - January 19th

This event will happen at the Sunset Theatre Company, which won the Nickelodeon's Award for "Best Children's Theater in Los Angeles." This is one of the most popular shows in Los Angeles for families. With plenty of original music, all types of silly fun and even some audience participation, kids tend to enjoy every minute of this interesting tale. Characters will include a talking unicorn and plenty of enchanted puppets.

Tickets are $15 and the show is geared towards kids age two to eight.

As one of the longest-running Kite Festivals in the entire state, many will attend and put their kites into the air. The event is sponsored by the Redondo Pier Association and the Sunshine Kite Company.

This event will be more than just a day of flying kites. Entertainment from different types of demonstrations and acts will take the stage, along with plenty of vendors providing food and beverage.

The event will happen at 100 Fisherman's Wharf in Redondo Beach at the Redondo Pier. It's a family-friendly event with plenty of fun
