Image Credit: Pier in Redondo Beach is a very popular place for events of all types. If you're looking for a great event in the month of September, there are plenty to choose from. However, none are as popular as the 10th annual Rods, Rides and Relics Classic Car Show on the Pier.

This is a premier event in the area and shows off many different vehicles you won't see anywhere else. Over 100 cares will be featured in the show and there will also be a DJ spinning oldies throughout the event. This is a free event provided by the Redondo Pier Association. You can come out and vote for your favorite car and see if it wins, as well.

The Lakes at El Segundo is a public golf course owned by the city. It was opened in June of 1994 and provides a great place for golfers of all skill levels. Most nine-hole courses don't provide the quality experience of this course. It’s known as one of the best short courses in the country and many golfers love the practice facility.
